Assault with weapons

ROTE — A 30-year-old Mill Hall woman and a 41-year-old Renovo man were arrested for causing bodily harm to each other with weapons during a domestic violence incident along Duck Run Road in Lamar Township on Aug. 22, according to state police at Lamar.

The incident began as a verbal argument between the two parties before turning physical, police said.

Both parties were subsequently taken into custody for harassment and are housed at the Clinton County Correctional Facility, pending arraignment, police said.

Found keys

ROTE — Three keys connected to a key chain were found near the intersection of Long Run Road and Gilmore Road in Lamar Township on Aug. 27, according to state police at Lamar.

The owner of the keys is asked to contact state police so they can be returned. Two of the keys are labeled FZZ and the third is a key with a bicycle logo.

Two-vehicle crash with injury

MILL HALL — Vickie Gavlock, 60, of Mill Hall, sustained minor injuries due to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hogan Boulevard and Mill Hall Road in Bald Eagle Township.

At 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 22, Gavlock was turning left from Mill Hall Road onto Hogan Boulevard in a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. As she was making the turn a 2023 Audi A3 driven by Austin Mikesic, 23, of Lock Haven, struck the right side of her vehicle, police said. The crash caused Gavlock’s vehicle to rotate clockwise about 90 degrees until it came to a stop in the left turn lane on the northbound side of Hogan Boulevard, police said.

Mikesic continued about 25 feet, coming to a stop on the southbound side of Mill Hall Road, police said. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Tressler’s Towing.

Gavlock was treated for her injuries at the scene and was cited with vehicles turning left, police said. Flemington Goodwill Hose EMS and Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company assisted on the scene.

Criminal mischief, stolen gas

MILL HALL — An unknown suspect is wanted for damaging a fuel door belonging to a 42-year-old woman’s 2016 Nissan Juke at 893 Lusk Run Road on Aug. 21, according to state police at Lamar. The suspect also allegedly siphoned out about two gallons of gasoline from the victim’s vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.

Theft of motor vehicle

RENOVO — A black 2017 Ford Fusion bearing a Connecticut registration number: AZ07726, was stolen from a residence along Pennsylvania Avenue in South Renovo Borough on Aug. 23, according to state police at Lamar. The vehicle was taken from the residence in the early morning hours by an unknown suspect and by unknown means, police said.

Theft from motor vehicle

RENOVO — Between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, multiple credit cards were stolen from an unlocked Jeep belonging to a 37-year-old Harrisburg woman along Hyner Park Road in Chapman Township, according to state police at Lamar.

The suspect then used the credit cards at two different Walmart’s in State College, totaling about $2,000 on two of the cards, police said. The cards taken were two PSECU credit cards and a Credit One card, police said.
